Curriculum Contributions
Curriculum Contributions are items and services which are essential for your child to learn the standard curriculum. Macedon Primary School purchases these items in bulk so they can be provided to parents at a significant discount, as well as ensuring all students have the same stationery.
Thank you to all families who have paid the voluntary contributions so far this year.
Within our school this support continues to allow us to:
- Offer a wide range of special curriculum experiences for our students across all year levels.
- Paint classrooms, corridors and the administration area.
- Upgrade and purchase additional IT devices.
Refurbish school grounds including upgrades to the Eco Shed, sustainability and fairy gardens at Middle Gully Reserve.
Increase the number of readers in classrooms and library books to support our reading program and new library.
We continue to welcome your Curriculum Contributions and also continues to welcome your voluntary Other Contributions towards Buildings & Grounds (including Middle Gully Reserve) and/or the Library for 2025, however if this is not possible, we ask that you consider contributing in other ways such as working bees, contacting the School for ad hoc job opportunities or assisting with PFA fundraising.
All records of voluntary contributions are kept confidential as well as your decision about whether to contribute or not.
Lost Property
We have accumulated an excessive amount of lost property during this term, all of which is located for collection near the toilets.
Please check to see if you own any of these items.
If there is anything without a name on it that you might require, please feel free to take these, as all remaining items will be disposed of at the end of term.
Late Student Collection
If you, or the person collecting your child, are going to be later than 3.30pm, your child is welcome to stay at the front office until 4pm.
After this time, they will be sent to Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) in the JCB.
If there is a possibility of this happening, it would be worth your family having a temporary enrolment at OSHC, so that they all of the correct contact details for you. Please see below for an enrolment form.
If your child is sent to OSHC, you will be charged for this time.
Staff parking
We request that parents please do not park in the car parking area at the top of Smith Street, as this is designated for staff to park during the day. Thank you.
Thank you,
Julie & Salina.
