Enrichment Programs

Celebrating a Semester of Enrichment

With two full terms of Enrichment now behind us, it is the perfect moment to pause and reflect on how far we have come. What started as a bold new initiative has quickly become a valued part of the school week and a space where students are not only learning new skills, but also building confidence, forming friendships, and feeling more connected to school.

This term, we have seen students thrive in all kinds of ways. Whether it was mastering the basics of Auslan, becoming certified in First Aid or becoming the next Magnus Carlsen in the ‘Rook N’ Roll’ Chess Club, students have embraced both new and ongoing interests in ways that have been meaningful and personal.

It is not just about learning new skills. Our latest Attitudes to School Survey data shows strong growth in student voice and sense of belonging - two things we know are vital for engagement and wellbeing. We believe Enrichment is helping to shape a school culture where students feel confident, connected, and cared for.

We are also incredibly proud of the staff who have made this program possible. Many teachers and education support staff have stepped outside their usual roles to lead programs and create positive, inclusive spaces for students to thrive.

Looking ahead, Term 3 brings fresh new programs like Karaoke, Paint by Numbers and Model United Nations, alongside returning favourites.

Last week, students put in their preferences for next term and provided feedback on Enrichment so far - a valuable part of ensuring the program continues to reflect their interests and needs.

Thank you to all the families who have supported this initiative so far. We are proud of what has been achieved, and even more excited about what is still to come!
