Year 10 Work Experience and Exam Week – A Fantastic Success!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are pleased to share that our Year 10 students have had a successful and rewarding fortnight, with both Work Experience Week and Exam Week now behind them.

Over the past few weeks, students have shown personal growth, and resilience as they balanced the demands of academic assessments and real-world learning.

Work Experience Week

During Work Experience Week, students had the opportunity to step outside the classroom and into a variety of professional settings, gaining firsthand insight into the world of work. From local businesses and trades to placement at Victoria Police, our students embraced the chance to explore future career pathways and develop key employability skills.

Feedback from employers has been positive. Many praised the students for their punctuality, willingness to learn, and professionalism. It has been a valuable experience for students to understand workplace expectations, teamwork, communication, and the responsibilities that come with employment. Congratulations to David Huynh for receiving a job offer from his employer.

Exam Week

The experience has helped build confidence as they prepare for the senior years of schooling. These assessments were an important milestone in their academic journey, encouraging revision, time management, and independent study skills. We commend them for the way they managed their time and adhered to exam conditions.
