Colac Division Girls AFL Play
Congratulations to all our girls who participated in the ‘AFL Play’ Lightning Premiership last Friday at Colac Central Reserve. It was a great day (however the weather was not ideal). The girls were the overall winners of the day, and will now progress to the Greater Western Regional Event on Wednesday June 25th in Ballarat (the venue is still to be confirmed). Congratulations to the following players who will progress to the Regional Finals – Phoebe Robb, Asha McNaughton, Charlotte Daffy, Mae Dwyer, Millie Harris, Lily Keating, Lena Mostert, Darci Green, Marlee Veale, Poppy Sherman, Lily Simon, Regan Smart and Lotus Rothery. A very big thank you to the umpires for their hard work, to coach Tom Armistead and the parents, guardians and grandparents who supported the day.
Colac Division Boys Netball Lightning Premiership

Congratulations to Sacred Heart Black who were the overall winners of the day, and will now progress to the Greater Western Regional Event on Friday June 20th in Colac at the Eastern Reserve. Congratulations to the following players who will progress to the Regional Finals – Jock Melville, Brock Jamieson, Lachie Sheppard, Levi Charles, Thor Medley, Beau Perkins, Chase Hickey, Isaac McGuane and Kade Mason. A very big thank you to ALL the umpires and to coaches - Deanne Cumming, Nicole Mitchell and Emma Craddock, and to all the parents, guardians and grandparents who supported the day.
NRL Lessons
In sports classes last week, our Years 4, 5 and 6 classes were lucky enough to have NRL coach Tere Rask come and teach the students the game of NRL. The classes had a great time learning some new skills. We are hoping to get Tere back again to teach our junior classes. This was a part of the Sporting Schools Program.
Colac Division Soccer
Good luck to the students who are representing Sacred Heart in the Colac Division Soccer event, this Friday 13th June at Colac Central Reserve/Hockey Field. Unfortunately this event does clash with the Year 5 Sovereign Hill Camp, so the following Year 6 students will make up our soccer team – Thor Medley, Lachie Sheppard, Saxon Finn, Tjay Moynihan, Benji Denti, Dusty McCrimmon, Jeremiah Scott, Jericho Scott, Benji Keast, Beau Perkins, Emmanuel Mathoat, Jock Melville, Zac Peters and Chase Hickey.
We hope they all have a great day.
