Grade 1 Report

Literacy in Grade 1
This term, the children in Grade 1 have been exploring the magical world of fairy tales. Children have enjoyed reading and listening to a variety of traditional tales, while learning about the key features of narrative texts such as characters, settings, and story structure.
More recently, we began learning about procedural texts. The students followed a set of instructions to create their very own paper bag puppets and had a fantastic time bringing their characters to life!
