F/1/2

We concluded Term 2 with some exciting visitors and joyful hands on learning experiences. St. Mary’s was visited by the Responsible Pet Ownership instructor and her corgi, Podge. The F/1/2 children loved meeting Podge and learning how to safely approach and care for dogs. They practised how to ask permission before patting a dog and talked about what pets need to live happy, healthy lives.
A big thank you to Anita and Yolanda, who brought in their adorable lamb, Dennis. Our class gave him a gentle pat, and even helped feed him with a bottle of warm milk. We also ventured out on a library excursion, where our local librarian Donna shared stories and led a fun scavenger hunt. It was a warm and wonderful way to finish the term, thank you to everyone who helped make these experiences so special. We wish all our families a safe and restful mid-year break.
