Year 5 Camp

On Wednesday, June 18th, the Year 5 students embarked on a two-night trip to Cottage By the Sea. One of their favourite activities was bodyboarding in the chilly, refreshing ocean, with their wetsuits. While at the beach, they also had fun holding crabs and collecting sea glass. Afterward, they enjoyed a hearty meal of chicken and rice, which left them feeling satisfied.

The students went on a challenging hike, climbing over hills and rocks, and even visited a cave where Indigenous Australians once lived. During their free time, they eagerly hunted for treasures, played on the playground, or joined in a game of basketball.

In the evenings, the students participated in trivia games as teams. On the second night, they relaxed with a movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

All in all, the students had a fantastic time at camp!
