KINDERGARTEN CLASS NEWS
Wow, it’s hard to believe that we are halfway through the year! Kindergarten have well and truly settled into school life and we absolutely love seeing all the progress they’ve made! Today we have been at school 92 days and next term we will have our 100 Days of School celebration!
Maths
In our recent Maths lessons, we've been focusing on counting forwards and backwards by ones, as well as identifying numbers that are one less and one more. We've also explored how to share a group of objects equally. Our sessions have been packed with fun Maths games and plenty of hands-on opportunities to practice these skills!
Athletics
This term, we've had the wonderful opportunity to participate in athletics sessions with Jay Stone on Tuesday afternoons. We've been learning the fundamentals of discus, high jump, and shot put. Even though the weather hasn't always cooperated, we've still had so much fun!
Science
This term in Science, we've been having a blast exploring Living Things! Students have learned about what makes animals and plants special and what they need to thrive. They've spotted lots of living and non-living things around our school, and we've talked about what pets need to be happy and healthy. Plus, we even got to meet one of Mrs Killen's pets yesterday!
We wish you a wonderful and safe holiday! We can’t wait to see all our little learners in a couple of weeks for another amazing term.
