Reading
This fortnight in Reading, the Year 3 Cohort have been diving into the world of persuasive texts. Students have been analysing a variety of advertisements to identify target audiences and explore the techniques used to persuade, such as slogans, emotive language, rhetorical questions, and colourful visuals.

Students began by following the usual procedure: starting with plans, then drafting, followed by revising and editing, and finishing it off with publishing.

Attendance Matters
Coming to school every day is important. When students are in class, they learn more, stay on track, and build good habits. Missing school can make it hard to catch up and understand new concepts. At CPS, we want all students to do their best so we ask families to help make sure students are here on time every day. Every day at school helps you grow!
