2025 School Charges: We rely on your contributions

Dear Families,

Thank you to everyone who has already made payment of the 2025 school charges, including contributions to the Thrive Fund. Your support makes a real difference in ensuring the success of our academic and co-curricular programs.

Over the last two years, we’ve seen a 25% drop in school charge payments. In previous years, most families contributed to both the Common and Variable Program charges, but recently, fewer payments have been received.

It’s important to know that schools like ours are not fully funded by the Government to provide programs beyond the standard curriculum. To continue offering the wide range of programs, resources, equipment and facilities that benefit all students, we rely on the continued support of families through these contributions.

We are again asking for your support to help us deliver exceptional programs for our students in 2026 and beyond.

How to make a payment:

  1. Login to Compass and go to your child’s 2025 charges.
  2. Click on ‘Payment Centre’ from your Dashboard and select the relevant items (Common Program or Variable Program).
  3. Review charges to make sure they are correct.
  4. Choose to pay in full, one item at a time, or set up a payment plan.

More details about school charges are available on Compass (School Documentation) or on our school website

At the same time, we understand that some families are feeling the impact of rising living costs. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please contact the General Office on (03) 9488 2300 to discuss support options—we are here to help.

Lastly, thank you again to the families who have already contributed to school fees and the Thrive Fund. Your generosity ensures we can provide the best learning opportunities for every student at Northcote High School.

Please note: In October, families will receive information regarding 2026 parent contributions and payments.
