R U OK? Day
On Thursday 11th September, our school will be recognising R U OK? Day, a national day of action that reminds us all to check in with the people around us. It’s a simple yet powerful message: by asking “Are you OK?” and really listening, we can make a big difference.
At school, we’ll encourage students to look out for their friends, talk to a trusted adult if they’re worried about someone, and remember that kindness and care make our community stronger. Families are encouraged to continue these conversations at home too – asking “Are you OK?” is a great way to open up caring, supportive chats.
Together, we can build a culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and connected.
Has your child told you about our latest competition?
We are trying to make our atrium area blossom by adding some wooden flowers to the planter boxes. Students are encouraged to enter a design for a wooden flower. Those with winning entries will be able to paint their designs onto one of the wooden flowers and have them displayed in the atrium for all to admire.
Templates can be collected from the Mindfulness Centre.Entries are to be handed in to the Mindfulness Centre by 11/9/25.
What are our Wellbeing Leaders up to?
