An Out Of This World Experience!
As part of our post Science Week celebrations, our students were treated to an amazing science incursion led by Oscar, a passionate and engaging science presenter from Mad About Science. The session was the perfect follow-up to all the curiosity sparked during Science Week, giving students the chance to dive even deeper into the wonders of Earth and Space.
From the very beginning, the excitement was sky-high! Students embarked on an epic journey through space, learning about the mysteries of the universe and our incredible solar system. They discovered what makes Earth such a unique and special planet, explored the icy corners of the universe, and visited the hottest, most uninhabitable planets in our galaxy.
The incursion was full of jaw-dropping moments. Students witnessed explosive Big Bang demonstrations, and asked thought-provoking questions about space, planets, and the universe. Oscar's hands-on experiments and captivating explanations kept everyone engaged and eager to learn more.
The session didn’t just teach facts, it inspired wonder, imagination, and curiosity. Our students walked away with a deeper understanding of the science behind our world and beyond, and a renewed excitement for discovering more.
A big thank you to Oscar for delivering such a spectacular and unforgettable experience, and an extra special thank you to Miss Jai, our wonderful Science Teacher, for organising this incredible learning opportunity for our students.
LSO Appreciation Week
Our LSOs do an incredible job every single day. They help students in the classroom, support teachers, and make sure everyone has the best chance to learn and succeed. They are patient, caring, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our school a great place to be.
To show how much we appreciate them, we have been doing some special things all week to celebrate the wonderful people they are, and the important job they do. Our school wouldn’t be the same without them!

She teaches us gently with love and care.
