Faith Education

Mr Ru Lameijn - Deputy Principal & Religious Education Leader

Dear Trinity Family,

Today was a day where prayer was needed. We remembered a dearly beloved parent, Sophie, who passed away one year ago, today. Prayer was needed.

Remembering and praying for the soul of our dearly departed is very important, however, in the current world marked by uncertainty, conflict and rapid change, prayer also offers a profound source of strength and hope. It is more than words spoken into silence; it is a lifeline that connects us with God, grounding us in faith when the world feels unstable. Prayer draws us away from fear and towards peace, inviting us to listen, reflect, and place our trust in something greater than ourselves.

In times of turmoil, it becomes an act of courage, to hope when despair seems easier, to forgive when anger feels justified, to love when division surrounds us. Prayer reminds us that we are not powerless; we are held, guided, and called to be instruments of God’s peace. It nurtures compassion and resilience, renewing our vision for justice and unity.

In the quiet strength of prayer, we find light to face the shadows of our time with faith-filled hearts.
