This week, teachers across the school have been engaged in a valuable cycle of reflection and planning. Staff have taken time to evaluate what worked well, identify areas for growth in term 3 programs, and have begun shaping learning programs for Term 4. It has been great to see the consistent and thoughtful effort going into this work, with a strong focus on explicit teaching and student progress.
Across teams, teachers are using data, student feedback and evidence-informed strategies to refine their programs and ensure every student is supported to grow and succeed. This commitment to continuous improvement reflects the professionalism and collaboration of our staff, and their shared goal of delivering high-quality learning experiences for all students. Term 4 promises to be a strong finish to the year.
Coonamble Guests
It was a pleasure to welcome students and staff from Coonamble Public School to Chatswood PS this week as part of our ongoing City–Country Alliance. This partnership is something we value deeply, providing opportunities for students to learn from one another, build friendships, and grow their understanding of different communities and experiences.
Earlier this year, a group of our students had the chance to travel to Coonamble and experience country life and learning first hand. This return visit has helped strengthen those connections and continue the rich learning that comes from this kind of exchange. We are proud to be part of this growing partnership and look forward to more shared experiences in the future.
