Principal's Message

Dear Families,
Last week we celebrated SASS Recognition Week, a special time to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our support staff. I would like to sincerely thank Miss Leanne, Miss Jay, and Mr Edmonds for their dedication and hard work in supporting our school community. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.
We enjoyed a fantastic PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) games afternoon on Tuesday, which was a fun and rewarding way to celebrate our students’ reaching 1000 platypus tokens for positive behaviour in the classroom and on the playground. It was wonderful to see the children engaging so enthusiastically and enjoying themselves.
Looking ahead, we will be conducting a lockdown drill next Monday. This drill is part of our preparation for the upcoming bushfire season, as well as other potential emergencies such as snakes on grounds. Prior to these drills we teach children our emergencyprocedures and ensure children know what to expect when the alarm sirens. Ensuring our students know how to respond safely in these situations is a priority.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to foster a safe and positive learning environment.
Warm regards,
Principal
