Transition Weekend
This weekend, we welcome our new Year 10 and 11 students for 2026 as they embark on the Transition Camp. We know parents and students highly value the camp as an important strategy to help new students settle in and feel comfortable in their new school and residential environment.

Year 11 Final Week
This week is the final week for most of our Year 11s and an opportunity for families and students to reflect on the year. I hope the year has been positive and productive, and that students return bright and enthusiastic for their final year of schooling.
Gastro
We have recently had a number of students become sick with gastroenteritis, which has presented as general unwellness, queasiness, and diarrhoea. There appears to be no particular pattern to identify any specific cause. Gastroenteritis is a notifiable condition, which means medical practitioners must report confirmed cases to Public Health, who track outbreaks and will contact us if they have any concerns.
The advice from our School Nurse is that students with gastro should remain at home until they are well, typically 48 hours after their last symptoms resolve. Maintaining fluid intake is important to prevent dehydration. All students have been reminded about the importance of basic personal hygiene, including thorough handwashing and not sharing food or drinks.
Have a great weekend
