Attendance
Whole-School Attendance
We have made a strong start to Term 4 with attendance across the school remaining steady. Our whole-school figures were 91.05% in Week 1, a little higher at 91.41% in Week 2, and still very solid in Week 3 at 89.71%. Importantly, more students are keeping their attendance high, with those in the 90–98% range increasing from 56 students last week to 65 this week. This shows the commitment of our students and families to regular learning.
Data highlights:
- Week 1: 91.05%
- Week 2: 91.41%
- Week 3: 89.71%
- Students with 90–98% attendance: 56 → 65

Week 3 brought some fantastic results across year levels. Prep AC had a standout week, achieving 96.36% attendance, which was a jump of +6.77% from the week before. Prep HE also performed strongly with 92.86%, showing consistency in the Prep area. In the junior school, 2AP continued its strong upward trend, reaching 94.50%. Our middle years also lifted, with 4CM moving up to 89.20% (+3.60%) and 4GF improving to 92.92% (+2.92%). These results show the great effort our students are making to be at school every day.

Trends for the Term
Looking at the first three weeks as a whole, our attendance has been encouraging, holding close to 90% overall. Several classes have consistently recorded strong results above 92–94%, including Prep HE, 2AP, 4GF and 5EM. The rise in students maintaining 90–98% attendance (up to 65 this week) highlights a positive trend of resilience and good routine across the school. These early patterns show that we are well placed to continue building on this strong start for the rest of the term.
Data highlights:
- Overall average so far: ~90%
- Consistently strong classes: Prep HE, 2AP, 4GF, 5EM
- Students with 90–98% attendance: 65 this week
✨ Let’s keep working together to aim even higher – perhaps we can see more classes reach above 95% in the coming weeks. Thank you to our families for the ongoing support in making school attendance a priority.
Why Attendance Matters 🏫
- Missing just one day a fortnight adds up to 20 days a year – the same as a whole month of learning lost.
- Students who attend regularly are more likely to feel connected with their peers, confident in their learning, and prepared for success.
- Building strong attendance habits early sets children up for success in later years.
Tips for Strong Attendance 🌟
- Morning routines matter – set up a consistent wake-up and get-ready schedule.
- Pack bags and lunches the night before to make mornings smoother.
- Talk positively about school – show excitement and interest in your child’s learning.
- Plan appointments outside of school hours where possible.
- Reach out if you need help – we’re here to support families with any barriers to attendance.

PBIS - Leave No Trace
This week’s PBIS focus is Leave No Trace. We are encouraging students to take responsibility for their belongings and the school environment. This means making sure rubbish is placed in the bin, equipment is returned after use, and classrooms and playgrounds are left tidy. Just like we care for our homes, we are learning to care for our school so that everyone can enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming space. Practising Leave No Trace helps us show respect for others, responsibility for our actions, and pride in our community.
🌟 Student Tips – 3 Easy Ways to Leave No Trace
- Put rubbish in the bin (and pick up any scraps you see nearby).
- Return sports equipment and classroom items when you’re finished.
- Check your space before you leave — if it wasn’t there when you arrived, take it with you.
🏡 How Parents Can Support at Home
- Encourage children to clean up after meals and activities, reminding them to leave spaces tidy for others.
- Model the habit of returning things to their place (toys, books, sports gear) so it becomes second nature.
- Talk about respecting shared spaces at home (like the lounge or kitchen) as practice for respecting shared spaces at school.
