2026 Information Night

Diwali Celebrations
Our 4-Year-Old group had a wonderful time learning about and celebrating Diwali – the Festival of Lights! The children enjoyed hearing how some of their friends and families mark this special occasion and discovered the meaning behind the celebration. They expressed their creativity by making beautiful, colourful chalk drawings at the entrance of the kinder, brightening up our space for everyone to enjoy.

Transition Statements a& Summative Assessments
As previously expressed to families, due to ongoing industrial action by members of the Australian Education Union (AEU) during the current VECTEA (Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement) negotiations, teachers will not be completing written Transition Learning and Development Statements or Summative Assessments this year.

We understand how important the transition between either 3 YO kinder to 4 YO kinder or onto School, is to your child. Please be assured that your child’s transition will not be disadvantaged by this. Instead of written statements/assessments, our teachers will verbally share important information about each child’s learning, development, and wellbeing directly with the child's teacher for 2026.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s transition, please don’t hesitate to speak with your child’s teacher. We are committed to ensuring that every child is well supported and set up for success as they take this exciting next step.
