From the Principals

Hello everyone! 

We have had a big few weeks since our last Newsletter with lots of things happening in and around the school. Congratulations to our Foundation students who had their first excursion this week, as well as our Hoop Time and Cricket teams who were successful in their endeavours this week. 

World Teacher's Day

Today is World Teacher's Day! We are so lucky to have some of the best teachers, education support staff and leaders at Vermont Primary School, and although today is a special day to acknowledge all their hard work, we are grateful every day for all that they do. Being a teacher can be a tough job sometimes - but the rewards make it so worth it. We know that without our incredible teachers, Vermont Primary School and Kindergarten wouldn't be the great place it is. 

Enrolments for 2026

With most enrolments for 2026 now finalised, we would like to remind families that if you will not be returning to VPS next year (other than Year 6s) please let the office know so we can make necessary arrangements to transfer information to your child's new school. 

Important Dates

A reminder for next week:

Monday 3rd of November  - Curriculum Day (no school for students)

Tuesday 4th November - Melbourne Cup Public Holiday (no school for students)

We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Wednesday the 5th November. 

Lost Property

We have many items that have been handed into our office including various glasses, watches and keychains
