Term 3

Our language students enjoyed a variety of topics this term!

The Year 8 German students completed work on clothing. After their assessments, they enjoyed putting their colouring skills to good use and putting together some fashionable outfits!

Meanwhile, Year 8 French students played a board game reinforcing how to tell the time.

The Year 10 French students could also be seen distinguishing between the advantages and disadvantages of being on a cultural or school exchange.

Finally, the Languages Food Day took place on Thursday 30 November. Students and staff could purchase either lemon sugar, chocolate ganache, or mixed berry crêpes from Les Crêpes de Marion. There were also vanilla cinnamon and salted pretzels! French students were lucky enough to buy their crêpes during class time if they ordered in French! We even ran our first ‘Skip the queue’ contest where 15 lucky winners got to buy theirs at recess and beat the lunchtime queue! The food was delicious, and a good time was had by everyone!

The Languages team would like to wish everyone a very restful break and happy holidays!

Meilleurs vœux pour la nouvelle année!

Alles Gute zum neuen Jahr!
