Family Maths Night

With great excitement, we can confirm that our 2023 TPS Family Maths Night will occur on Wednesday the 29th of November (week 9). The event gives you as family members and carers the chance to brush up on your maths skills and explore the different ways that our students engage with maths through an amazing race style series of games and challenges. 

 

Information you need to know:

 

Date and time: Wednesday November 29th (Week 9) 5:15pm – 6:30pm. The event will commence in the Hall at 5:15pm where you will receive your passport, map and instructions for the hour of activities. 

 

Competitions and prizes: Each family who attends, will enter a raffle for some great maths-related prizes and games that can be used by the whole family.

Shopify - Changes to Uniform Ordering 

State Schools’ Relief is excited to announce the launch of their new online shopping platform, Shopify, to make uniform purchasing a whole lot easier. Please click here to purchase uniform. Uniform ordering will continue to run on the QKR app until the end of November.

It's Time To Get Your Dancing Shoes & Glow On!!!!

This Friday the TPS Disco will be held in the hall.  If you have not purchased a ticket on QkR for your child, sales will be open until end of day Thursday  otherwise tickets can be purchased at the entrance.  Tickets are $7 and $3 for a glow pack (if available).

Entry for the disco will be via the Canterbury Road school entrance (main school door).  

Come early and visit our Media wall for your pre-event photos with friends and our hair salon for some added colour!!  

Don't forget to bring your named water bottle.  Labels will be provided if not named.

 

Junior Disco

For the Prep-Grade 2 disco, please arrive from 4.45pm for collection of your pre-purchased glow packs and photos.  Students will exit at 6pm via the back doors (near the Library). 

 

Senior Disco

For those students in Grade 3 - 6, please arrive from 6.15pm for collection of your pre-purchased glow packs.  Students will exit at 8pm via the back doors.

 

There will be a supervised chill out room in the Library for any students who wish to take a break from the disco with some craft activities.

 

Please note, the disco is for Toorak Primary students and no siblings or parents will be able to enter the hall unless approved.   

 

For those parents/carers wishing to volunteer at the disco, a Working with children card will need to be checked by the front office.  Please come to the hall after the end of day school bell or by 4pm.  Volunteers are most welcome!!

JSC Pyjama Day

Students are invited to wear their PJ's to school on Thursday 30 November. Kindly bring a gold coin donation. All proceeds will got to Fare Share, a not-for-profit food rescue organisation. 

School Drop Off

A reminder to parents to please drive extra slowly around our school streets when dropping/collecting your child to/from school. We have had reports in recent weeks of unsafe driving by parents. Please be kind and courteous to others and keep our children safe.

Dental Van Visit

The dental van will visit TPS on Tuesday 21st November to attend to students who did not receive their dental check earlier in the year.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

The second hand uniform stall will open this tomorrow 16th November from 8.30am to 9.15am. Quality pre-loved uniform guaranteed!

 

2023 School Fees

Exiting Students

If you have a child in Foundation through to Grade 5 who is planning to leave Toorak Primary School at the end of 2023 could you kindly email the office at toorak.ps@education.vic.gov.au
