Class 18 have made a great start to term 4. In weekly numeracy lessons, we have had a huge focus on place value and how to calculate a percentage. We have been learning about our responsibilities in the workplace and the importance of communicating appropriately with colleagues. Friday trivia has been introduced this term with all students keen to claim the title of quiz master.

In exciting news, Alessia and Jimmy have begun work experience this term and both students have been made to feel incredibly welcome at their respective workplaces. Our other students will begin work experience in the next week or so.

Special mention to Alex, Jacob, Kyal and Tawhiri who were part of a PSC team that took on our neighbours Dromana Secondary in a basketball match. Our boys played with great spirit and displayed wonderful sportsmanship in a narrow defeat.

With Hospitality and Parks and Gardens graduations coming up, as well as VPC camp, the formal and graduation night on the horizon, term 4 will be one to remember. Keep up the great work class 18.
