30 October 2023 – Next PFA Meeting
The PFA will hold its next monthly meeting on Monday 30 October 2023 at 7.30pm in the school staff room in the Main Office Block.
The Parents and Friends Committee is an informal, friendly group of interested parents who assist at various school functions throughout the year such as information nights, music nights, school production, parent/teacher interview days etc. P&FA also fundraises with a focus to raise extra funds to use on worthwhile projects that will benefit the college community. We will be delighted to include you in our group, please email your expression of interest to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will be extremely happy to add you to our group.
A Trip Down Memory Lane (some messages from our long serving members)
What a journey it has been to watch my teenagers grow and develop into amazing adults through EDSC for the past ten years. I have been part of the PFA for seven of those years and loved knowing all the ins and outs of the school. From volunteering at many sausages sizzles, bake sales, Year 7 open nights, school tours, music performances and so much more.
Becoming a high school parent, I was pleasantly surprised to make many friends via the PFA, where there are many parents who give up their time to raise funds, support the students and the wider school community.
Now it’s time for the next phase for both my children and I. Thank you PFA and EDSC for making this journey just that little bit easier.
And lastly, I promise to pass on my lemon slice recipe, so no one misses out at the bake sales.

First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Year 12 graduates for accomplishing a memorable and fruitful chapter filled with hard work, knowledge and friendship. At the same time, it's a remarkable milestone of our parenting journey.
A long and winding journey with joy, sweat and tears.
We are fortunate to have our daughter studying at EDSC where she enjoyed the school life very much. In addition to academic learnings, she was cultivated with a set of the school values which, we believe, are fundamental to education and are the essence to be a decent, responsible and honourable person.
Participating in the PFA gave us the opportunity to engage with the school as part of our child's studying journey. It's such a pleasure to work with wonderful people, sharing the same goals and many topics, and to appreciate contributions from our predecessors to improve school facilities that students are enjoying. Working in the PFA events is an excellent opportunity for us to pay forward.
Finally, we wish the school, PFA and all of you all the best, and encourage more parents to join the PFA to share our enjoyment. Kind regards.

20 November 2023 – Year 7 Information Evening
PFA will be present to support the school community at the Year 7 Information Evening on Monday 20 November 2023.
We will be serving refreshments and having a friendly chat to welcome new families to the school.
14 October 2023 – Referendum Day Sausage Sizzle
The PFA Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser at the school on Referendum Day was a great success. We saw a good turnout of people enjoying sausages cooked by our PFA Chefs!!
A huge thanks to all the volunteers who helped throughout the day inspite of their busy schedules. It could not have been possible without their help and support.
Also, we would like to express our thanks to Baker’s Delight & Tunstall Fresh for their donation of bread and supplies. It is greatly appreciated.
