Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre

Students and Mrs Notley traveled to Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre on Monday 14 August. The children joined Woolbrook and Yarrowitch Public School for an exciting day of bugs, rocks and mapping.

Of course the most exciting part of the day was getting to cuddle Sophie the python.

Thank you to our parents/carers who transported the children to Armidale for the day.

Matilda's Madness

Australians are very proud of the Matilda's 2023 World Cup campaign.  Getting in on the action were Niangala school students, who spent Wednesday researching their favourite players, colouring the flags of the competing countries and plotting them on a map.

This year's World Cup was a true celebration of Women in Sport.  The Australian / New Zealand community supported 32 teams that played 64 matches in both New Zealand and Australia.  AMAZING!!!
