Congratulations to the Year 5 and 6 boys who represented our school at the Spring Slam Basketball Gala Day. The boys played enthusiastically and demonstrated great sportsmanship. Thank you to the parent volunteers who gave up their time to assist the teams. A great experience with lots of smiles!
On Tuesday, boys and girls from Years 4, 5, and 6 travelled to Penrith to compete in the Netball Gala Day. The sun came out and made for a beautiful day filled with fun and competitive spirit. Across the day teams played 6 games, with a mixture of wins and losses. Overall our teams represented the school with pride and learnt a lot of new valuable skills. We are very proud of everyone that participated. A big thank you to all the parents who volunteered to coach a team on the day. We appreciate the support you give our students.
We wish all the students competing at the Sydney Athletics Championships on Friday 1st September the best of luck!

"Swimming Together: The Sharks Embrace Diversity in Every Wave!"
Diversity took centre stage for our year 5 and 6 students, as we welcomed guests from the Sharks NRL team, to present their One Heart presentation.
With their remarkable insights, the Sharks players shared personal stories of triumph over challenges and how diversity has been a driving force in their team's success. Their powerful anecdotes resonated with our students, emphasising the value of teamwork and unity, regardless of background.
The players talked about the importance of embracing differences and fostering an inclusive community, through playing truth or false games and question our students.
A heartfelt thank you to the Sharks players for their time, wisdom, and dedication to promoting diversity.
