Please join us for a homeless awareness night exclusively for Year 4-6 students! Together we will make a difference to the homeless community in Sydney by creating snack and toiletry packs.
To help students fully comprehend the challenges faced by the homeless, we will spend time outside in the cold. Please wear warm clothing and bring along sheets of cardboard or a sleeping bag.
This interactive event will be held in the library, starting promptly at 6.00pm and ending at 8.00pm. Students must be accompanied by an adult guardian throughout the event. This will ensure a safe sand meaningful experience for all participants. We kindly request that no younger siblings attend to uphold the focused nature of the event.
Please RSVP using the Google Form sent out on Compass.
Thank you to every family who offered to write a prayer card for a Year 12 student of St Patrick’s Sutherland, currently studying for the Higher School Certificate. Please can you ensure that they are returned to me by Monday 11 September if you haven't already sent them back.
These cards form part of a prayer pack that will be given to the Year 12 students prior to there exams so that they know people in the wider community are praying for them and wishing them well during such a significant time in their lives.
I am so grateful for the incredible response for our beautiful families and know how much the Year 12 students will appreciate you taking the time to do this.
Have A lovely week
