VCE Physics

Last Wednesday our Unit 3 & 4 Physics students got the opportunity to go see Oppenheimer in cinemas. This movie analysed the science around the creation of the first-ever atomic bomb and discussed quantum mechanics, coincidently what our physics students are studying right now. The students thoroughly enjoyed the movie and its exploration of theoretical physics and Heisenberg's groundbreaking uncertainty principle.

The class would like to give a big thanks to Mis Gilbert for organising the event and giving them a chance to see how physics can be used experimentally in the real world, and to Ms Thornley for helping out too.

RoboSapiens Grant

Thanks you to the Kingston Council for awarding our RoboSapiens a special grant to support their competition endeavours. Taliah O'Quely took the initiative to apply on behalf of the Robotics Club proving she is a talented programmer and proposal-maker. The grant will put to representing their school community proudly when  competing state and nation-wide.
