Sport & Competition
August has been a busy period of interschool competition at all levels. Here are some reports from the student coaches.
Junior Australian Football
Coaching the Junior Australian Rules football team at the state finals was an amazing opportunity. Although they did not progress to the next round, we are incredibly proud that our team finished in the top eight in the state. The whole team worked incredibly hard, and it was great to see their improvement throughout the three Round Robins we played. We are all grateful for the experience and the memories we made. Great job year 7s and 8s!

Year 8 Netball
On Tuesday 8 August the Year 8 Netball B team headed out for their Regional finals competition. The team played very competitively, and they didn't stop moving. The team won all of the games in their pool. However, they unfortunately lost in the final against the winner of pool A. They all played amazing and should be very proud of themselves and their performance! Congratulations on their great efforts and many wins.

Year 7 Netball
The Year 7 A and B netballs teams participated in a Regional netball competition and played three competitive games of netball against different schools from around Victoria. The A team did very well and won two games and drew one. Unfortunately, the B team only had an opportunity to play one game as the other teams forfeited.
As it came down to points and statistics the A team could not get into the finals.
The students displayed amazing sportsmanship and respect toward their opponents and umpires, we all had a really fun experience, and we will be back next year!
Thank you to Ms Mathews and Ms Parker for coming with us and for helping run training.
