  • Collect and interpret data using motion capture, video, and sensors

SSV Intermediate Girls Soccer - State - Ms. Michelle Hackett

On Tuesday 29th August, the intermediate girls' soccer team competed at the SSV State Soccer Championships. Although they did not proceed to the finals, they played three smashing games. Each team member was truly valued in every game and gave their all. I am very proud of all of you! This journey began at the SSV Interschool Soccer competition with coach Laura who did a wonderful job to get them into the Regionals. I was involved in coaching the team from this point and have seen the girls improve with each training session and game. They have come a long way in such a short time and have created a lovely bond with each other. One thing that stood out to me was how determined the girls were, they never gave up. They pushed to the end in every game. Wonderful confidence and pressure was applied throughout all of the SSV Soccer games. It was perfect timing with the inspirational Matildas winning so many of their World Cup games! I highly encourage all the girls to keep on practicing and grow from this wonderful experience of making it to the State finals. Thank you to Rachel Rosse for coming and helping with the team and for her expertise with soccer. Well done Champions!!

SSV Intermediate Boys' Soccer - State - Mr Edson Letendrie

The boys headed to Thornbury for the SSV State Soccer competition on Thursday 31st August, they were full of enthusiasm after they won their first game 2-1 but then lost in the second two matches! They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
