Quicksmart Literacy

It has been FANTASTIC to see Year 7 students' literacy growth as they meet challenges in a variety of text types.  Quicksmart Literacy facilitates reading aloud, vocabulary extension, and practising comprehension strategies. Lessons build confidence across all subject areas by consolidating writing skills such as brainstorming, sentence structure, revising punctuation, and editing.

We always have a few laughs while trying to pronounce tongue-twisters like unanimously, simultaneously and intergenerational, especially during flashcards when students attempt to say as many words as they can in one minute... highly competitive!

We commend our wonderful students for their commitment and effort!
