5/6 Ambitious

with Miss Anita Salloum

Students in 5/6A had a wonderful experience during their recent visit to Little School Preschool in Granville. This visit was part of our grapple (inquiry-based learning) projects, where our students had the opportunity to showcase their hard work to the preschoolers.

During the visit, our students engaged in several activities designed to enhance learning and play. They participated in role-playing activities focused on sharing, which helped the children understand and practice this important social skill. Fine motor skills activities, a memory game, and various play centres were set up to keep the preschoolers actively involved and entertained. A game of snakes and ladders added an element of fun to the day, and our students also had the chance to read a wonderful book that conveyed the beautiful message of sharing with one another.

In addition to these activities, our students gifted the preschool with a bookshelf for them to keep, fostering a love of reading and learning within the preschool community.

The educators at Little School Preschool were thrilled to welcome us and expressed their delight at the level of engagement shown by our students. It was a rewarding experience for all involved, and we are proud of how our students represented our school.
