As I'm sure you're all well aware, 1JO's teacher Mrs Jess Oakey is pregnant and due to take Maternity Leave at the end of this term. This is an exciting time for Jess, Mark and their families. Thank you Jess, 1JO will miss you!
Experienced Croydon Hills Primary School teachers Mrs Ashley Bau (Monday, Tuesday & alternating Fridays) and Mrs Jessica Cassidy (Wednesday, Thursday and alternating Fridays) will be returning from their Maternity Leave and teaching the class for the remainder of the year.
Prior to Jess's leave, she will be providing a thorough handover to Ashley and Jess. As always, Assistant Principal Julie Reid and Student Wellbeing Officer Cheyenne Mason will also monitor the well-being needs of students in the class. Please connect with either Ashley, Jess, Julie, or Cheyenne if your child requires additional new support during this period or if there is new important well-being information for the school to know.
This term we've also welcomed back Tayla Alderson from Maternity Leave. As a school we are so incredibly spoilt to be able to welcome back such knowledgeable and capable professionals to support our students growth.

A Fortnight of Fun
This week we've kicked off a fortnight of fun to say goodbye to a longer-than-usual Term 3 (and winter)!
- The AFL Roadshow visited our school on Tuesday and Wednesday this week;
- Today is RUOK Day and District Athletics;
- Tomorrow night CHAPs are hosting our annual school Disco;
- On Tuesday and Wednesday next week we have Learning Expos for Year 4, 5, and 6 children;
- Also next Wednesday, in the evening we'll see Croydon Hills' very own talent show at Stagestruck;
- Next Thursday we have our Footy Lunch and Sport Dress Day; and
- On Friday next week, JSC are hosting their end-of-term fundraiser and dress up and we have our farewell assembly at 12:50 pm in the Stadium prior to 1:30 pm dismissal.
What great experiences for our students! Thank you to our staff and parent's association for facilitating such a great end to term.
