MacKillop Athletics
Congratulations to Noah VD, Isabelle D, Lana B, Zara L and Jordan G for representing not only our school but all of Sydney Catholic Schools at the MacKillop Athletics Trial. What an amazing achievement to reach this level. Congratulations to Noah, Lana and Jordan who have all qualified as members of the MacKillop Team who will compete at NSWPSSA Athletics next term.
Representative Jerseys
This is a friendly reminder for anyone who has any representative jerseys at home. We kindly ask for them to be promptly washed and returned to the school office. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
Representative Sporting Opportunities 2024-2025
The nominations for the representative sporting opportunities for current Year 4 and 5 students have now closed. Thank you to those families who have notified us of their child's sporting engagements outside of school.
Swimming Program K-5
Congratulations to all of our K-5 swimmers who participated in our intensive swimming program over the last few weeks. Our students did such a good job in the pool and we are so proud of how far they came in just a week. Huge thank you to St Patrick's College and Sutherland Leisure Centre for allowing us to use their facilities. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and learnt something new. We can't wait to see your achievements at the swimming carnival!
Swimming Carnival
Our Annual School Swimming Carnival for Years 2-6 will be held on Thursday 7th November 2024 at Engadine Leisure Centre. Any students in Year 1 who are born in 2017 and who are advanced swimmers also have the opportunity to compete at this event. The carnival is a fun, school event but also acts as a trial for the Conference 3 Swimming event.
Please have a thorough read of the attached note. Nominations for timed events will close on Friday 18th October. We cannot accept any late timed event entries after this date as we will be finalising paperwork. No form is required if your child is participating in a grade event.
Just a friendly reminder to provide consent for your child to attend this day. Final reminders and the program of the day will be shared with all families the week before the event.
Interschool Sport
League Tag Conference 3 Championships
Our level 1 boys and girls team have progressed to the Conference 3 League Tag Championships on Wednesday 23rd October. We are extremely excited to be a part of this event. The draw has not been released as of yet but will be shared with all attendees at the start of Term 4.
We have come to the end of the the Interschool Sporting Season for 2024. We are excited to share the plan for Interschool Sport for the 2025 Calendar Year. This information will be shared with the parent community before the end of the year. Thank you to all the teachers, support staff and parent volunteers who work together to ensure this opportunity is a success for our students.
