Year 6 RE Test Prep
Year 6 have been very busy preparing for the Year 6 Religious Education Test in Week 1 of Term 4. Today were very fortunate to have Father Richard and Seminarian Julian come and visit to share their wealth of knowledge with us. Year 6 will be having a Trivia Day on Tuesday the 15th of October next term to continue their preparation. We wish them all the best in their efforts!
Fr Richard visits Year 4
This Wednesday, Father Richard visited the Year Four class, and the students were absolutely thrilled to meet him. During his visit, he shared insights about himself and took the time to answer their questions about God and his faith. An example is when he addressed a question about our origins. He explained that the church has not definitively classified whether we evolved from monkeys or if God created us directly without any evolutionary process. Overall it was an absolute delight for Year 4 to have Father Richard over.

Children's Novena For Mrs Burfield
We invite you to take a special moment to pray this novena for the sick with your children. This is a beautiful opportunity to teach them about the power of prayer and the importance of intercession.
As we pray for Leonie Burfield and any other loved ones who may need our prayers, let’s remind our children that asking God for help is a way we show love and support. Intercessory prayer is a powerful form of prayer, and together we can lift up those who are struggling and in need.
Thank you for taking this time as a family to connect in faith and love.
God bless

Winter Sleepout
Winter Sleepout & Pyjama Day
Thank you to everyone who supported our Vinnies Winter Appeal by wearing pyjamas to school and donating food for our Night Patrol Snack Packs. I was truly overwhelmed by the huge number of donations. With so much going on, like the recent colour run and the excitement building for the school fete, I wasn’t expecting such an incredible response, but once again, our community has shown its remarkable spirit.
During the evening, parents of Year 4 to Year 6 students who attended the sleepout came together to pack 500 snack packs, which we delivered to St Vincent de Paul, Lewisham. These snack packs will be distributed by the Night Patrol Vans, providing much-needed food to the homeless and those in need.
The surplus food donations were shared with our local Vinnies conference in Sutherland, where they will directly support those in our local community. A staff member from the Sutherland office expressed their gratitude, saying it felt "like Christmas."
Thank you once again for your incredible support!
