Feature Creatures Incursion - PDM Year 9 socials blurb

On Wednesday 12 June, Feature Creatures visited our School bringing with them quite a menagerie of animals, Stick Insects, a Bearded Dragon Lizard, a Magnificent Tree Frog, a Green Tree Frog, a Large Freshwater Turtle, a Blue Tongue Lizard, a Shingleback Lizard, and a Python. Year 9 Photography and Digital Media students came armed with their cameras ready to photograph and to fight for the best position with which to get the most aesthetically pleasing compositions and taking turns to also try out the School's macro lens. So much fun was had by everyone, the enthusiasm was infectious, and our incursion would not be complete without a cuddle from a python. Of course, they do say you should never work with children or animals. Well, let us just say we like a challenge in our faculty.
