Year 1 Visit Erin Earth

Week 9 Term 2, 2024

Year 1 visited Erin Earth last Tuesday. We had a fantastic time learning about animal habitats and living things. Children were fascinated by the hollows they discovered on their nature walk, and expressed wonder and excitement as they explored the gardens.

Students discovered ducks, chickens and a variety of insects. A highlight was tasting leaves on a saltbush and sorting living things into categories. Another favourite was meeting by a campfire and enjoying fruit together. We’re thankful that God provides us with land and animals to look after and care for!
