Scholastic Book Club
Issue 5 of the Scholastic Book Club catalogue has been distributed. Order online through LOOP not later than Monday 29 July; cash payments not accepted. Delivery is expected in about two weeks.
Our school receives rewards for all orders placed, providing resources for our Library. We greatly appreciate your support of this regular fundraiser for our school.
Scholastic Book Fair
Our annual Book Fair will be held from Monday 5 August to Wednesday 7 August in our Library.
Parents and students may browse, purchase and order books on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before school from 8.30am to 8.45am, and after school from 3.30pm to 4pm.
Every student will receive a Book Fair flyer early next week. Students will have the opportunity to create a wish list of titles they have discovered at the Book Fair. We encourage you to discuss the Book Fair and their wish list choices with your child. Once you have agreed which items you will purchase, you can pre-pay for those titles by completing the following steps from Friday 2 August:
- List the titles you are going to purchase from the Fair on the flyer.
- Make a secure payment online by going to scholastic.com.au/payment or scan the code on the flyer.
- Complete the Payment Form on the flyer including the receipt number and amount paid. Bring the completed Payment Form to the Book Fair to collect your books.
Alternatively, payment can be made by EFTPOS at the Book Fair. Please note that there is a 1% surcharge on all purchases.There are no cash sales.
Book Fair is a significant fundraiser for our school; thank you in advance for your support if you're able to support this activity.

2024 Book Week: Reading is Magic!
Book Week 2024 which will be celebrated from Saturday 17 to Friday 23 August. The 2024 theme is Reading is Magic!
The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) have announced their shortlisted books, including the Book of the Year - click here. Our Library will soon have copies of all the shortlisted titles for students to borrow.

Take care when returning library books
We have recently received notification from Boroondara Library that an EHPS library book has been incorrectly returned to them.
We are grateful to our local libraries for letting us know they have our books, and for the opportunity to get them back. We will be asking the family that last borrowed the book to collect it by the due date (if not collected by the date specified by the library, our books are destroyed).
All library books are valuable resources; please take care when returning library books that you're return them to the correct library.
