Parents of all Year 6 students who will start in Year 7 in 2025 at a Victorian government secondary school received their child's placement offer letter last week. Return the completed Year 7 Placement Acceptance Slip to your child's classroom teacher not later than Wednesday 7 August.
Market Day
Year 6 students organised a ‘Market Day’ for the whole school last Friday, 19 July. Students worked hard in Term 2 to create a business plan and budget, create advertising and finally create the products. The school was abuzz with excitement on Friday as the Year Sixes brought in their products and set up their stalls. There was a huge variety of stalls from lollies, drinks, games, stickers, and a variety of food. Every class in the school visited the stalls, paying in tokens. The money raised on the day will go towards the Year 6 graduation at the end of the year. The Year 6 students and staff would like to thank everybody for their participation and enthusiasm on the day, and for helping to raise funds for graduation.
The most profitable businesses on the day were:
1st: Sweet Street
2nd: Fleur Confectionery
3rd: Ceele
Congratulations to all of the Year 6s for an incredible day!
