This Week in Music 

Hello IPS Community! 

Battle of the Bands is only one week away! 

James Bull and I will be setting up the stage from 2.40pm on Wednesday, 19th . As I am still under Worksafe restrictions, I am unable to lift weights of more than 7kg. That rules out lifting amps, the PA, etc. If you are available to help, I’d greatly appreciate it.  

I'm still searching for a sound technician to help set up the cables and foldback amps etc. 

Please call the office or message me on Class Dojo if you can spare a little time to help out either setting up the sound systems or setting up the stage.  

We have someone to run the desk on the day - Thank you Derek.  

If you are availble to help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Ask your child which band they’re in, and what they are doing for Battle of the Bands.

Lord of the Rings – Violin and Piano 

We have many talented students in the school, and I have invited a few to perform on the day.  These items are not part of the competition, however, I’m sure they will add enormous entertainment value to the concert. It’s a very exciting time of the year. 

Keep Thursday, June 20th, 9am - 11am, free to come along and watch. If you can’t make it on the day, we will live stream via Webex.
