Interschool Sporting Gala Day

Well done to our students who competed at our first interschool Gala Day for the year. Our students did a fantastic job on the day with their sporting ability and also by demonstrating The Tally Way throughout the day. There were some tough games and some tough opposition - our students did great and we are very proud of them. Our next interschool Gala Day is on Tuesday 16 July (Term 3, Week 2).

QCUP AFL Carnival

On Tuesday Mr Eaton and myself took our boys and girls AFL teams along to the annual QCUP AFL carnival. Our students did a stand-up job on the day with a number of our players stepping up and putting in some amazing performances. Our boys team had to dig deep with some unexpected illnesses and injuries leading up to the day, with 13 players and no subs. The boys had some great wins and did well to beat an experienced Currumbin side to finish 3rd overall. The girls team also stepped up on the day with a number of girls who had never played AFL before. The girls had some strong wins over Miami and Elanora to finish 2nd on the day. Well done to all of our players. 

Athletics Carnival

A reminder that our Athletics Carnival is on next term - Week 1 of Term 2

Junior (Prep – Year 2) Wednesday 10/7/2024   9:00am - 1:30pm

Senior (Year 3 – Year 6) Thursday 11/7/2024   All day 

Sporting Achievements

Congratulations to Winnie and Alliah who were selected in the Oceanic Rugby 

League team. This is a very tough team to get into and both girls have done well to be selected. Good luck for the upcoming South Coast carnival.  

Afternoon Sport - Term 3 

Next term our afternoon sport will be kicking off in Week 3. 

Tuesday - Golf (3:00 - 4:00pm oval) FREE

Wednesday - Auskick AFL (Please look out for the flyer coming home next term) PAY

Thursday - Netball (3:00 - 4:00pm oval) FREE
