Bayside City Council Art Awards

Four BPS students entered the Bayside City Council art awards with the theme “how I see the world”. Ava, Dakota, Poppy and Jack entered the exhibition. 

Last Thursday there was a closing celebration at the council building. We are very proud to announce that Ava won runner-up for her age category, and Jack won the People’s Choice award. 

It was a lovely evening and well-deserved awards. Well done to these talented four students. 

Melbourne Royal Show - Art, Craft and Cookery Competition

Brighton Primary School entered a record 42 entries into this year’s Art, Craft and Cookery Competition at the Melbourne Royal Show. Students entered classes such as drawing, painting, collage and digital art, with entries coming from all year levels from prep through to grade 6.

Brighton Primary School took home 20 awards including the prestigious Best Exhibit Junior Art Primary!!

Well done to all of our entrants, and a huge congratulations to the winners!
