SmackTalk - Unplug 24 hours off social media to help save lives
On 24th October SmackTalk are running their first major campaign to ask for us to stay off social media for 24 hours to help save lives.
Please take a look at the website below to raise awareness and ask people to step away from social media. We ask that if your child is using social media, that you spend time with them to let them know about this program and speak to them about safety and wellbeing issues related to social media.
While smack talk is banter, sometimes referred to as trash talk, the use of the name for this charity is to help stamp out cyber bullying.
If you have any concerns regarding your child's wellbeing please reach out to Deb Barden, our Wellbeing Coordinator, or Cecile Elliott, school nurse.
