Bulldogs Read

On Friday the 25th of October, our Year Five students participating in the Bulldogs Read program took part in the finale event for the year! It was a great day out, with students enjoying the Western Bulldogs Inflatable Roadshow to practise some footy skills including kicking, running and marking, before listening to a presentation from Australian author Michael Wagner. 

The finale event also included final presentations, hosted by program facilitators Campbell Waring and Tamara Sheward. Our very own Brock Boyle was selected as one of the major prize winners, demonstrating resilience and persistence to submit his book reviews throughout the program. Brock took home a Goodie Bag, which included a Western Bulldogs team jumper, signed by each of the players on the AFL team. 

The students are looking forward to sharing more about the finale event as well as their time in the program this year at our next assembly on November 22nd.
