Learning Reflection
Weeks 5 & 6, Term 4
We had a great time at the Spanish Fiesta! Some of our favourite activities were dancing and art.
Author Study: We are reading and enjoying the books by Alison Lester. We are noticing the craft she uses to make her books interesting.
After noticing that Alison Lester uses alliteration in her writing, we wanted to experiment with using alliteration too! We also had a go at using onomatopoeia to make our writing more interesting.
In Maths, we have been practising our skip counting. The grade 2's are learning about fractions of a collection. We love using whiteboards for our maths!
A beautiful day to enjoy our lunch under the big oak tree at the front of the school.
In Unit of Work we have been looking at toys from the past.
