Interschool Sport 

Basketball - Thursday 17th October

Our Intermediate Girls Basketball Team competed at the Gippsland Schools Finals competing against Lavalla, Bass Coast and Lowanna Secondary Colleges. Jazzi, Olivia, Evelyn, Heidi, Lara, Sara and Ava are a credit to themselves exemplifying school and team values on the day in a couple of really tough games. Pushing themselves physically, it was great to see the team rewarded with a win in their second game and keeping spirits high throughout the day.

State Athletics - Monday 21st October 

What a thrill for our 3 students who competed at the State Athletics Championships Albert Park last Monday. Lewis, Kaden and Patrick, qualified in 8 events which is no mean feat. In perfect sunny conditions, Kaden won gold in Javelin and silver in Shot put while Lewis took home silver in both the Long Jump and High Jump. In all their events, the year 11 students all had great performances and brilliant results that they should be proud of, including Patrick in the 1500mtrs with a very fast time of 4m:38s. 

Table Tennis - Wednesday 23rd October

Our Year 7 Boys Table Tennis team have played their way through to State Championships at Traralgon Table Tennis Centre last week. Having a stellar series of games, they won convincingly against St Thomas and Bass Coast proving all the practice prior was worth it. We wish the boys all the best in the big smoke on the 29th of November.
