Wurrin News - Year 9

Melbourne Humanities Trip 

On the 18th of October a handful of students from Year 9 and 10 went on a Humanities excursion. Our first location was to the Old Treasury Building, where we learned about the First Nations people and the development of Melbourne through the decades. Later, we went to the Shrine of Remembrance.  We then learnt about all the men and women who went to World War I and II. To finish of the day, we went to the Melbourne Parliament House. We got a tour of both the lower and higher parts of Parliament. At the end we got to go look around the DFO at Southern Cross Station. Thanks to Kayla and a very big thanks to Mrs Smith for the great trip and making it possible. - Grace 

Students At Work

Our Year 9 German classes are currently learning about the human body and how to pronounce body parts in German. The students played Simon Says to test their knowledge. What a fun alternative 

Students in our food studies classes have tested their skills and had a go at creating Satay Chicken Pies, Goyzas, Rice paper rolls and Pho . We think they did a fantastic job.
