Big News From our Sister School in Japan
Mount Alvernia College graduating student Giselle Shaw (2023) has spent the year on exchange at our Japanese sister school Nigawa Gakuin. On the basis of The Japan Times article below, we think it is fair to say she has been making the most of her Japanese experiences. Not only has she ‘tried’ Sumo as part of the co-curricular offerings in Japan, she is so good at it, that her talent is putting her in contention to represent Australia in Bangkok next year!
