From LPPS to the Big Stage!
Today our Year 5/6 cast took a special trip to the Princess Theatre to watch Annie – The Musical
What an incredible opportunity to see the magic of live theatre up close — the lights, the music, the acting, the energy — everything that makes an audience beam from ear to ear!
Our students soaked up every moment, taking mental notes and inspiration for our own LPPS Production later this term.
We can’t wait to see how this experience helps bring even more sparkle and passion to their performances.
A huge thank you to the team at Annie for sharing the magic — you’ve truly inspired the next generation of stars!
Hold onto your flux capacitors and buckle up for a wild ride through history! A Step Back in Time is a time-travelling theatrical comedy that follows a wildly mismatched group of students forced to work together on a school science project – building a replica time machine. Led by a less-than-organised teacher and driven by academic rivalry, wealth, sarcasm, rhyme, and a whole lot of sass, the group unexpectedly activates the machine and is hurled into the past!
From prehistoric grunts and Egyptian grandeur to medieval myths, wartime heroes, disco queens, and 90s pop icons, the students stumble through the centuries, encountering legends like Cleopatra, King Arthur, Don Bradman, Albert Einstein, Kylie Minogue, Cathy Freeman, and even The Beatles before they were famous! Each time period brings chaotic laughs, clashing personalities, unexpected friendships – and more than a few life lessons.
At the heart of it all is quiet, overlooked Shelly, who just might hold the key to getting everyone home. But will anyone slow down enough to listen?
Packed with humour, history, and hit songs from every era, A Step Back in Time is a hilarious and heartwarming reminder that teamwork, curiosity, and a little courage can truly stand the test of time.
Perfect for audiences young and old – this is one time-travelling adventure you won’t want to miss!

One Hundred Days Of School
Last Friday the prep students celebrated One Hundred Days of School. The Preps made a fantastic effort dressing up and some played the role very well. How quickly the time at school has gone.
Check out the wounderful photos.
