Principal's Message

Dear Families,

For the remainder of the year, we are placing a big focus on improving the Wellbeing System at our school through Student Wellbeing and Student Voice. We believe that positive behaviour in learning is essential for creating a supportive and successful school environment. Our students have been actively working alongside staff to develop clear school expectations that reflect our shared values.

Through this process, what we have heard loud and clear has been the students’ thoughtful input regarding what are appropriate expectations for areas around the school and their desire for clear consequences for actions. Both individual classes and our whole K-6 community have engaged in meaningful conversations to express their views. We are currently refining these ideas to ensure they are fair and effective.

This process is going to take time, we will need to trial and reflect. Once the initial stages are complete, we will invite parents to participate in a community consultation to share your thoughts and feedback. Your involvement is vital to help us continue to build a positive and respectful school culture together.
