Healthy Breakfast

đ The Power of Breakfast â Fuel for a Great Day of Learning!
Â
Starting the day with a balanced breakfast is like giving your body and brain a head start. After a night of sleep, our energy stores are low, and breakfast replenishes themâhelping students feel alert, focused, and ready to learn.
A balanced breakfast combines:
- Whole grains (e.g. wholegrain toast, oats, wholegrain cereal) for long-lasting energy
- Protein (e.g. eggs, yoghurt, milk, cheese, nut butter) to keep tummies full until recess
- Fruits or vegetables for vitamins, minerals, and fibre
Research shows children who eat breakfast can concentrate better, have more energy for physical activity, and perform better in memory and problem-solving tasks.
Â
đĄ Quick tip: Try simple combinations like wholegrain toast with avocado and cheese, or yoghurt with fruit and muesli.

A good breakfast is the first step to a great day at school!
